Job description

A lovely company based in Finchampstead are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join their team of six. This role will be working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after your 6 months training/probation

The main role is to :

  • To monitor and manage the repair order process on behalf of the customer and act as an interface between the customer and internal departments on a day-to-day operational basis.
  • Working closely with the Engineering department to ensure service delivery to the customer.
  • To ensure timely response to customer requirements and drive internal support functions in line with Customer and departmental KPIs.
  • Order receipt, status reporting, quote processing and query management as agreed with the customer.
  • Continuous process review to improve processes and promote efficiency

Responsibilities of the Customer Support Specialist are:-

  • Ensure that Customer Support service level expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Identify areas of poor performance or opportunities for improvement and come up with solutions, which when implemented, will resolve these problems.
  • Respond to all escalated day to day issues, and where necessary, propose operational changes to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to handle all personal data (whether that be of your employees, colleagues or your own) in confidence; with integrity and in a manner of which ensures appropriate security measures are met and adhered to, which include protection against unlawful processing or accidental loss, destruction or damage in line with GDPR compliance.

Skills and experience:

  • We are looking for candidates with excellent Customer service skills and experience.
  • Ability to respond to change quickly and effectively.

  • Good communicator and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong initiative and ability to provide creative solutions to problems.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills and ability to co-ordinate workload under pressure
  • Good practical problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions when required or appropriate.

An excellent salary is offered of £27,000 to £35,000 plus with great benefits.

The hours of work are 37 per week

Mon-Thursday 9am to 5:30pm (1 hour lunch) & Friday 9am to 5pm (1 hour lunch)
