A leading business based in Farnborough is looking for a candidate to join them as an SAP Administrator/Construction Buyer.
The purpose of the role is to support the UK office in the engagement of subcontractors and producing purchased orders and controlling the financial invoicing.
•Derive & Issue Purchase Orders for the Construction & Commissioning Dept.
•Supports monthly financial forecasting within SAP system for assigned scope (cost recognition)
•Supports the project and local procurement process and maintains forecasts and tracking on SAP.
•Supports the sourcing and supply of bulk orders and frame work suppliers.
•Interfaces with supply management & site teams to secure deliveries, orders and invoice correctness
•Provides financial information to the Head of Dept, and department management team.
•Provides monthly returns and forecasts to the Project Controller & Finance dept.
•Maintaining Project Purchasing records and deviations from the dept./project budget
•Works closely with Controlling team, Tender team, Work Package Holders in head office and with the Site Commercial teams to raise, administer and re-forecast Site & Project Purchase Orders
•Experience in a similar industry and/or function (preferably construction of large industrial works), Commercial awareness, a good team player and customer orientated.
•Good Local Market Knowledge for suppliers & Services
•Analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to set priorities and take decisions
•Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
Salary up to £40k + benefits.
